PURCHASE ORDERS AND CONTRACTS

The Webster Parish School Board may require issuance of purchase orders when federal and state guidelines require their use and/or certain vendors request them.  Each department head and/or project director will make the appropriate determination in accordance with project guidelines and when sound principles of financial accounting warrant their use.

Telephone orders may only be permitted in cases of emergency and shall be approved by the Superintendent.

SCHOOL PURCHASES

The principal of each school shall make the determination on the use of purchase orders. If purchase orders are used, they must be signed by the principal.
