SUPERINTENDENT SEPARATION

The Beauregard Parish School Board shall confer periodically with the Superintendent.  At each conference specific objectives shall be defined and agreed upon.  The Superintendent shall report periodically to the Board the status of the objectives.  If the School Board is dissatisfied with the schedule of anticipated progress, the President, with majority support, shall write a letter to the Superintendent, outlining specific deficiencies and defining deadlines for the correcting thereof.  Should the Superintendent's performance continue to indicate that he or she is incompetent, inefficient or unworthy, he or she may be removed for such cause by a majority vote of the membership of the School Board at any regular meeting or any special meeting after due notice.
